The successful candidate(s) will represent the banana industry, aiming to:

  • Raise awareness of Australian bananas
  • Build networks and relationships with individuals, companies and governments
  • Capture market intelligence and trade insights for other banana levy payers

Important information can be found here.

Your proposal must be emailed to trade@horticulture.com.au before 2pm (AEST), Thursday 23 May, 2019.

ABGC seeks Project Manager to join team

Do you know of an experienced Project Manager who is interested in disease management? The Australian Banana Growers’ Council is seeking a qualified individual to lead the Banana Bunchy Top Virus (BBTV) Project (Phase 4).

The role will manage the design, implementation and coordination of surveillance and management of BBTV, including producing incidence data, reporting and encouraging grower BBTV management.

It will also be responsible for leading and supporting a team of inspectors.

The role would ideally be based in Far Northern NSW, but this is negotiable.
