NSW weather update – 2 September, 2022

Rain is expected to develop from today as a rain band moves over northern NSW. A low is expected to form off the NSW north coast on Saturday, bringing increased wet and windy conditions to the northern half of the coast. At the moment, it looks like the Mid North Coast will see the most rainfall, with windy conditions expected across this region as well as the Northern Rivers and New England regions. The low is expected to move away quickly on Sunday, with conditions expected to ease late Sunday/early Monday. The exact position and proximity to the coast of the low may change in the coming days, and the impacts from rain and wind may shift northwards or southwards accordingly.

As always, keep an eye on the forecasts and warnings from where you get your weather information.
