Conduct field surveillance and sampling to support early detection of Panama Disease (Tropical Race 4) and strengthen industry biosecurity.

Support the banana industry by monitoring biosecurity risks in the field and maintaining close engagement with growers across the region, helping raise awareness of biosecurity risks.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
With around 15 years’ experience working across banana farms of all sizes, Phillip has seen the industry from the inside out. His career has taken him through a range or roles, often moving between farms, but always working closely with day-to-day operations.
