The Cassowary Coast Regional Council is currently preparing its annual community event, Pasifika Celebration 2026, and banana growers are invited to sponsor the event. 

Celebrate the vibrant cultures, traditions and communities of the Pacific Islands at this exciting family-friendly event. Pasifika Celebration 2026 will showcase live music, cultural performances, traditional dance, food stalls and activities for all ages, creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for the whole community. 

Bring your friends and family along to experience the spirit, stories and flavours of Pasifika culture. Whether you are coming to enjoy the entertainment, explore cultural traditions or connect with the community, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
