NSW growers connect with the National Banana Development and Extension Team

The National Banana Development and Extension Team recently travelled to New South Wales, with a strong turnout of growers and industry stakeholders attending a local meet-and-greet session in Coffs Harbour. The team extends its thanks to everyone who joined the discussion and shared their valuable insights. The event provided a great opportunity for NSW growers to meet Shanara Veivers who is the dedicated point of contact for NSW growers in the program and learn more about the new five-year program and its planned activities. The event and farm visits also enabled the team to listen to local challenges and better understand the priorities of growers in the region.

NSW growers interested in finding out more about the program are encouraged to get in touch with Shanara Veivers – [email protected] or 0408 371 054

The National Banana Development and Extension Program (BA25001) is funded by Hort Innovation, using the banana research and development levy, co-investment from the Department of Primary Industries and contributions from the Australian Government.
