PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE:
To provide administrative support that strengthens the delivery of membership services, stakeholder engagement, and organisational efficiencies at ABGC. My role supports the effective management of ABGC’s membership database, communications, reporting, and day to day processes, assisting the broader team in delivering value to our members and the banana industry.
HOW HAS YOUR ROLE HAD IMPACT FOR GROWERS?
My role helps ensure growers receive timely communication, professional support, and access to important industry information and services through ABGC. Through maintaining accurate membership systems, supporting member engagement activities, coordinating reporting and data management, and improving administrative processes, my role contributes to a more efficient and responsive experience for growers.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
Coming from a third-generation farming family in East Feluga, just north of Tully, I bring over 10 years’ experience in administrative and high-level project support roles across local government and not-for-profit environmental organisations. My work has supported a wide range of environmental sustainability projects, and I have a strong personal and professional connection to the agriculture industry. I am particularly passionate about building trusted relationships with our members – the heart of ABGC, ensuring members’ voices are heard and effectively represented while advocating for a strong and sustainable banana industry.
