Banana roadshows coming to Coffs Harbour and Murwillumbah

The National Banana Development and Extension Program is hosting mini roadshows in Coffs Harbour and Murwillumbah next month.

Come along for lunch, and stay to catch up on the latest research relevant to subtropical growing conditions including:

  • Banana weevil borer management
  • Chemical resistance fundamentals
  • Mite management
  • Lady Finger varieties
  • Pre-commercialisation trials in NSW
  • Banana consumer insights and trends

Tuesday 5 September | Park Beach Bowls Club | 60 Ocean Parade | 12pm-4pm

Thursday 7 September | Murwillumbah Services Club | 10 Wollumbin St | 12pm-4pm

Research and extension staff from Far North Queensland, alongside NSW IDO Steven Norman, are looking forward to meeting growers in person to discuss these topics and how they apply to your farm. The mini roadshows feature short, sharp presentations and plenty of time for questions and conversations.

Hope to see you there!

RSVP is essential for catering, by Tuesday 29 August.
