‘Raise a banana for Thomas Flegler’
Tonight, in honour of outgoing Brisbane Broncos prop and Tully banana grower Thomas Flegler – who will captain the team for the first time – fans have been invited to bring a banana along and toss in the air at the 8th minute mark.
We would love for fans everywhere to do the same. Whether you are at home, at your local pub or anywhere watching the game.

Flegler will run on as captain in tonight’s Round 27 clash against the Melbourne Storm at Suncorp Stadium at 7.50pm AEST.
It will be his last regular season game with the club before heading to the Dolphins.
