Minimum Wage Going Up 3.5% from 1 July 2025

The Fair Work Commission has announced that the National Minimum Wage and award wages will go up by 3.5%, starting from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025.

This change happens every year as part of the Commission’s Annual Wage Review, and it affects many workers, including those in the banana industry.

What Does This Mean for Growers?

If you employ staff, this increase will likely apply to your workers’ pay. You’ll need to make sure you’re paying the correct updated rates from July.
