Pasifika Celebration 2026 was a vibrant celebration of culture, community and connection. The Australian Banana Growers’ Council (ABGC) was pleased to host a stall at the event, providing an opportunity to engage with attendees and strengthen connections across the Pacific community. 

ABGC Advocacy Manager, Kathryn Drydenspent time at the celebration, connecting with attendees and experiencing the festivities firsthand. Kathryn described the event as a fantastic success, highlighting the welcoming atmosphere, strong sense of community and the opportunity to celebrate the rich cultures of the Pacific. 

The event also provided an opportunity to recognise the important contribution Pacific communities play in the banana industry, supporting banana growers across the country and helping farms supply Australians with their favourite fruit year-round. 

ABGC looks forward to continuing to build these connections and celebrating Pasifika again in 2027!
