NSW and Australian Government assistance is being offered to primary producers recovering from the devastating floods in northern NSW.

Special Disaster Grants of up to $75,000 are now available to help affected primary producers get back operating as soon as possible.

Free confidential assistance is available through the Australian Government’s Rural Financial Counselling Service to primary producers who may need guidance and assistance to complete the online forms, here  

Flood affected growers encouraged to complete a Natural Disaster Damage Survey

Flood affected growers in Northern NSW are encouraged to complete a Natural Disaster Damage Survey to help government understand the scale of the damage.

The survey can be used to record damage to primary production and animals from natural disasters such as floods.

This information helps government and communities understand the scale and regional distribution of the impact on agriculture, and target resources and assistance in an area.
