Disposing of bags

Take waste to your local Transfer Station (check Local Government for locations and fees.)
Bury waste on-farm only in safe areas away from waterways.
Do not burn bags. It is illegal and could result in fines for your business.
Storing bags
Bags (and other plastics) that aren’t in use must be stored securely, and away from areas that are prone to flooding or wind. This includes low-lying areas, creeks and riverbanks.
Revisit your storage and check its secure before the wet season and prior to any extreme weather.
